Our next victory and contribution to the demining of Ukraine!
As we have already reported, in June 2023, LLC “Patron Demining” sapper teams started humanitarian demining of the territories of Makariv community in Bucha district.
Today we have completed the work and successfully passed the External Quality Control Procedure. All the necessary documents have been signed. Representatives of the commission, along with recommendations for further work on mine action, praised Patron Demining sappers and the organization of the company’s activities in general.
So, today more than 53 hectares of land cleared of explosive ordnance and safe field is being returned to Makariv community. In the spring, it will already produce new crops.
For reference:
Currently, 180,000 square kilometers – about a third of Ukraine’s territory – need demining. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the most mined areas are Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson regions and Donbas. It will take at least 10 years to clear this area.
